Internal Medicine
We have a medical team of doctors and technicians that many consider to be among the best along the Treasure Coast. We cover all areas of internal medicine, including cardiology, ophthalmology, neurology, dermatology, gastroenterology, orthopedic surgery, oncology, and endocrinology, to name a few.
Since Palm City Animal Medical Center opened the doors to its new state-of-the-art facility in January, clients and members of the community have been impressed with the many new features and resources at the facility -- from the CT scan machine to the luxury boarding suites. In April, a new human resource will be added to the team.
Dr. Matthew Krecic, an internal medicine specialist with an interest in cardiology, joined the staff of Palm City Animal Medical Center in Palm City in April, 2012..
Veterinarian Matthew Krecic, DVM, MS, DACVIM, an internal medicine specialist with an interest in cardiology, will be available two days per month at the Palm City Animal Medical Center to better serve clients.

“It’s important to us as part of our growth, that we continually improve the level of service we provide to our clients,” Dr. Sentell said. “Adding Dr. Krecic to our team ensures that our clients have the convenience of a specialist right here in our office. We’re excited about this new partnership and the opportunities it presents for our clinic.”
Dr. Krecic has served as a clinical lecturer of small animal medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and is currently an adjunct professor of small animal medicine at Mississippi State University.
“I’ve spent much of my career staying connected to new technologies and medical advancements in the industry by simultaneously working in the educational field,” he said. “It’s important to me to continue my learning to benefit patients. Dr. Sentell and his staff share these same core values, so the partnership came about very naturally.”
Since 2009, Krecic has worked with Pfizer Animal Health, the world leader in the discovery, development and manufacture of innovative animal vaccines, medicines and veterinary diagnostic products.
